Under this initiative, local authorities committed to taking firm action against school absenteeism. Children found loitering during school hours may be picked up by authorities, and parents held accountable for failing to ensure their children attend school.
Hon. Naluyima highlighted the importance of collective responsibility: “We want leaders at every level from villages to districts to ensure that no child is left out of school. Education is the backbone of our community’s future.”
The campaign was officially launched in Masuliita Sub-County, where local leaders pledged to actively monitor school attendance and engage directly with families.
